Hi folks,
So, this might be a strange request, and I'm not sure if there will be any takers, but I figured I'd ask anyway. So a little while ago I ended up getting a used Braille Sense Plus QWERTY in very good condition. At the time I had some doubts about using a QWERTY model, but figured I'd get used to it and did so anyway, particularly since the person I got it from was willing to trade for it in exchange for my old MacBook Pro. Well as it turns out, the computer keyboard version of this device is just not for me. It's a great notetaker, pretty powerful despite it being an older generation... But I just can't get used to using a Braille device with a computer keyboard. Therefore, I was wondering if anyone here that uses a Perkins keyboard version of a Braille Sense Plus might be willing to exchange their device with mine?

Oooo, albano. I so would. I hate my perkins style keyboard and I'd totally love a qwerty one. But I have the U2 mini and that's the next generation or two up, so I'm not sure if i'd be interested in trading down from that. I'll look into it though and I'll message you. I'd totally do it though if it still has the features I really want.
That would be absolutely awesome my friend. In truth I think the major differences between the two devices are hardware-related, the U2 mini has more memory and a faster processor. That being said, all the software features are, from what I can tell, pretty much the same between the two. I might be wrong, since I haven't had much of a chance to play with a U2, but in terms of a feature list they look practically identical. Someone correct me if I'm wrong on that. Also you'd be getting a larger Braille display with mine, plus a CF card slot and included 32-gb card, though I doubt that part would be of much use to you...
Anyways, keep me posted on what you decide either way.
The different between u2 and the braillesense + are the processer, the u2 is more powerful and faster and also there are some extra features that the u2 has that the braillesense+ did not have. For example, dropbox, XLViewer, Youtube etc.
How big is the display?
Actually the Plus also has Dropbox, not just the U2. It's got a 32-cell display.
